Exciting news! The work “CellReplay: Towards accurate record-and-replay for cellular networks” received the NSDI 2025 Community Award! This award recognizes research that makes a significant contribution to the community through open code and data.
CellReplay addresses a fundamental challenge in cellular network emulation: accurately replaying network performance to test new applications and protocols. Traditional record-and-replay methods often misrepresent real-world behavior because they fail to account for how network conditions dynamically adapt to the workload. CellReplay overcomes this by modeling the interaction between traffic patterns and network responses, enabling faithful emulation that better mirrors live network performance.
